Allegra Homes has made an impact throughout the Greater Toronto Area for a number of years. They have built a variety of new homes throughout our city, and are looking to continue making an impact on the lives of their home owners. They have pledged to create the best homes possible because of their passion for the home. They believe that the home is the most important place in the world, and while they recognize that it may sound cliche, it truly drives how they build their developments. They’ve set their sights on building upon a cultural institution in eastern Toronto, where they will preserve the area’s heritage while adding their own flair. This won’t be the first time they plan on augmenting historical locations as they’ve been contributing to salvaging heritage buildings in Toronto for years.
Today Allegra Homes is dedicated to developing and building residential communities. They have exceptional projects throughout the GTA, and are committed to continuing doing so. They build condos, townhouses, luxury custom homes, and as they like to say - all sorts of stuff! Their history stems back to over 40 years ago when they began as a family company, but they didn’t begin building homes. They started by mostly building for private companies. In the beginning they built office buildings, plazas, and commercial space. All sorts of stuff indeed!
Why did they move over to building homes? Perhaps they saw the huge potential for home building in the Greater Toronto Area, or maybe it was because of their passion for creating a superior home. They truly believe that the home is the most important place in the world, and this guides their corporate philosophy built on honesty, integrity, and respect. Their dedication to injecting their love of their own homes into each property they build has earned them a reputation of hands on professionalism and unwavering customer satisfaction. It also drives them to build the best homes and condos. Their experience and philosophy have granted this developer to have a deep understanding of customer expectations, and they strive to meet and exceed those expectations at every turn.
They are responsible for building throughout the Greater Toronto Area. They’ve built residential communities in places like Milton, Mississauga, and Maple, and have also created ‘villages’ like Merton Street and Delisle Court. They were also responsible for the Victorian salvages in the iconic Annex neighbourhood.
They are currently undertaking another project to revitalize a place whose heritage is entwined with the area. The Blue Goose Tavern in Mimico has been a cultural institution partly because of it’s proximity to the Mimico GO stop, but also its longevity. It started as the Windsor Public House in the 1900’s, but in the 1970’s it was changed to the Blue Goose Tavern. Located on the eponymously named Blue Goose Avenue, Allegra has put forth a proposal to building condos on top of the Blue Goose Tavern while maintaining its facade. The development would add more density to the booming Mimico area.
This developer has demonstrated an astounding display of love for the home, and that is why they’re working hard to instil their passion into every one of their projects. Their work throughout the GTA is evidence of their dedication to the home. Understanding the importance of heritage and community, they’re working on revitalizing important elements of historic neighbourhoods like their salvaging project in the Annex and their development on the Blue Goose Tavern in Mimico. We’re looking forward to how they plan on continuing building fantastic homes and revitalizing the Greater Toronto Area.

This is a townhouse development located in one of the best spots in North York. Only minutes away from the Downsview station, this community is also very close to multiple parks and school, making it an ideal place to raise a family. This property is the best of both worlds as it is in the heart of downtown North York, but also quietly hidden away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The units are contemporarily designed, yet they still have a warm homey feel that is all too often forgotten in new developments. It is located at 724 Sheppard Avenue West, and it was completed in 2013.
