The Chelsea Hotel was purchased in 1996 and was managed by Delta for many years. It will soon be the location of the Chelsea Green Condos.
This is a massive project that is comprised of four massive towers, two of which will soar to 88 storeys and 285 meters into the air. Their Three Garden Road project (formerly Citibank Plaza) won the Highest Award from the Hong Kong Institute of Architects in 1994. There’s no doubt that they’re going to implement their international experience in creating some of the most stunning towers in the city.
Great Eagle is an international presence and they have played a role on the world stage since their founding in 1963. They have shown that they’re capable of taking on massive and stunning projects, and they plan on taking this skill to Toronto’s central downtown core with their Chelsea Green Condos development. These massive towers will define the region, and will provide housing for well over 2,000 people. We’ll have to wait to see if they plan on pursuing additional Toronto based projects in the future.
