An Uptown Transformation
From the developers who brought us one of downtown’s largest master-planned communities, comes their newest project in North York. Occupying 45 acres near Sheppard Avenue and Leslie Street, this green and luxurious development will eventually house 9,000 residents in a combination of condominium towers and townhome villas, along with state-of-the-art community facilities. The development will comprise of 20 buildings with 5,000 units, plus 60,000 square feet of retail. It will take at least a two decades to complete. This is Concord Park Place, an exciting addition to the Bayview Village.
The development started selling in 2007, spearheaded by Concord Adex, sits just south of Sheppard Avenue East, between Leslie and Bessarion subway stations. It’s a unique site surrounded by multi-million-dollar homes, making it a great option for those who love the upscale Bayview Village neighbourhood, but not the pricey real estate tag that comes with a detached home in the area.
The project aims to build a fully-equipped, walkable enclave that serves as a lasting legacy for residents and the community as a whole. To achieve this, Concord Park Place has an impressive roster of amenities planned. The eight-acre Grand Central Park will be the heart of the community, a lush gathering space that will include a skating rink, children’s play area and a water feature. Tree-lined pedestrian promenades will wind their way through the park, connecting with the residential towers and townhomes.
A school, community centre, daycare facilities and retail shops – including a supermarket – are in the works for the site, giving residents everything they need on a day-to-day basis.
Be Connected To Your Neighbourhood
The residential buildings of Concord Park Place feature elegant architecture with a delicate leaf-motif façade. Two developments within the community are planned, each reaching approximately 36 storeys.
One of the developmets, Saisons Condos, will feature a range of layouts, including one-bedroom priced from the $400,000’s, one-bedroom plus den priced from the $500,000’s, and two-bedroom priced from the $700,000’s. The unit sizes range between 698 sq. ft. and 898 sq. ft.
The bottom of the building will also include Villas, dubbed "Saisons Villas." These villas will boast unbeatable views of the eight-acre Grand Central Park, and an English Garden setting. They will also come complete with parking, a locker, and have access to outdoor patios and balconies. Suites are available in two-bedroom plus den to four-bedroom layouts. They will respectively span 160 square feet to 1,888 square feet.
The other phase of the community, Seasons Condos, will be a mixed-use residential condominium and townhouse development comprised of two towers. One tower will be 36 storeys with 340 suites and 26 exclusive Garden Villas. The other will stand 34 storeys high with 312 units, and will include 18 elegant Garden Villa Towns. Together the two buildings will offer a variety of one bedroom units at 505-560 sq-ft., one bedroom + den at 530-670 sq-ft., two bedrooms at 755-760 sq-ft., and two bedroom + den at 850-938 sq-ft. The town homes will boast a mix of two bedrooms, three bedrooms and three + den, which will respectively span 1,188-sq-ft to 1,590-sq-ft. The three and four bedrooms+den units will feature 1,463-sq-ft–2,245-sq.-ft of space.
All suites come with floor-to-ceiling-windows, contemporary kitchens, European-style appliances and exquisitely-tiled bathrooms. The entrance to the towers will be marked by a sleek, marble-accented lobby, where you’ll also find a piano lounge and a tea room. A grand, circular driveway makes for a red-carpet-worthy entrance.
One of the most hotly-anticipated features will likely be the Seasons Mega Club, a facility of exclusive amenities. For the fitness and recreation enthusiast, there’s a full-sized basketball court, bowling lane, golf-putting green, tennis and badminton courts and a fitness centre. A sparkling indoor pool will be a perfect place to get some laps in before the day starts, or to relax in the clear waters after a long day. You’ll also find a whirlpool, sauna and hot stone massage room.
For families, the Mega Club will feature a kids’ splash pool and playground area, while an outdoor terrace will boast space for alfresco dining and lounging. The buildings even share a touchless car wash, although the site’s easy access to public transit will likely have many residents forgoing vehicles altogether.
Concord Park Place sits in the Bayview Village neighbourhood, which is a fantastic place to invest in. Young professionals will appreciate the proximity to Yonge and Sheppard, an urban employment destination in its own right, as well as easy access to transit, which can take you into Toronto’s Financial District in under 30 minutes. Families will love the abundance of parks, ravines, reputable schools and community facilities available to entertain the kids at any stage.
Concord Adex has already shown us they’re capable of pulling off massive, master-planned successes in Toronto. Their wildly successful Concord CityPlace in downtown Toronto is often considered to have sparked the city’s massive condominium boom and the formerly under-utilized land is now a thriving urban community with a host of sleek towers, shops and restaurants. Concord Park Place will likely share similar qualities, with a greener, lusher vibe befitting its North York location.
Concord Adex has established a reputation throughout Canada for building comprehensive, multi-unit condominium communities on underutilized lands. The CityPlace project has the distinction of being the largest residential development ever created in Toronto.
