Connectt Milton Modern Living is a new master-planned community coming to the town of Milton. A joint-venture master-planned community in Milton that will see over 600 units introduced in a series of new condominium buildings and townhomes alongside a tributary of 16- Mile Creek with views of the Niagara Escarpment. Investors can expect three residential towers that will be connected by a 2-storey podium as well as a mix of stacked townhomes and traditional townhomes. This development will come equipped with a new street that will run through the complex along with pedestrian walkways and bicycle lanes, 10,000 square-feet of open green space and beautiful views of the Niagara Escarpment.
This proposal will be developed by Briarwood Development Group and Gilbach Real Estate Development and will be located in the north-west corner of Regional Road 25 and Derry Road. The podium of this mixed-use development will have retail space on the first two floors and will hold both indoor and outdoor amenities. Three towers, ranging from 16 to 25 storeys, and 58 townhomes, are artfully composed around an expansive central park where mighty oaks and maple trees, boxwoods, hydrangeas, and burning bush will bloom throughout the seasons.
The first tower C1 will be 20-storeys high and will have 191 residential units, the second tower C2 will be 25-storeys high with 237 residential suites and the third tower C3 will be a mid-rise consisting of 16-storeys with 185 units. This complex will also include 48 stacked townhomes rising 3-storeys, located both in the centre and the north-side of the complex. These stacked townhomes will be surrounded by open green space and will connect to a new street that runs diagonally toward the south-side of the complex connecting residents to 34 more traditional townhomes. In total, this complex will have 695 residential dwelling units.
Residents can expect substantial luxury living spaces with an open-concept layout, modern features and finishes, large windows and glass balconies. Each building will have a modern exterior comprised of masonry and stone paired with steel and glass to create a unique design that complements other buildings in the area.
To enhance the overall structure of the development, the residential towers will be purposely built far apart from one another to ensure that there are no obstructed views for residents living in each tower.
The landscape surrounding the area has been carefully designed to incorporate the right amount of green space. Pedestrian walkways will be surrounded by bright greenery that will encourage residents to travel through it.
These walkways will give residents easy access to get through the entire complex. The central core of this development will have a large outdoor park that will accommodate a sloped lawn and a tiered seating area for outdoor events. The park will be lined with trees, shaded structures and plants. This communal area will span an astonishing 10,000 square-feet and will provide a sense of community for residents living in this development.
Additionally, the residential towers will have four rooftop terraces that will account for the outdoor amenities of the building. These rooftop terraces will be on the top of the third floor and will be spread across the entire podium. Indoor amenity space will also be located in the podium as well. Residents living in the townhouse units will have access to the indoor and outdoor amenities in the condominium buildings.
