The site of 1 Yonge is bordered by Yonge Street to the west, Freeland Street to the east, Queen’s Quay to the south and Lakeshore Boulevard to the north, a prime location that’s within steps of both Lake Ontario and the downtown core.

The south block has long been home to the iconic Toronto Star building, which stands 25 storeys. It's slated to remain, but will be connected to an entirely new 35-storey office building. On the east side of the block a 22-storey commercial building is proposed.

At least three residential towers will be included as well, standing 65, 80 and 95 storeys respectively, situated on the site’s north portion. Designed by the renowned Hariri Pontarini, the towers at 1 Yonge will be sculpted in a way that not only adds dramatically to the skyline with contemporary aesthetics, but reduces wind loads on the buildings and mitigates the effect of shadowing. Pontarini has worked on some of Toronto’s most architecturally intriguing buildings, such as the Royal Ontario Museum and the Art Gallery of Ontario.

All three towers will feature a wide selection of units to choose from, ranging from one to three bedrooms with stunning views of the lake and access to podiums, which will contain restaurant, retail and, in the project’s first phase, a state-of-the-art community centre.

The development at 1 Yonge will eventually include a promenade, public square and direct underground access to the PATH system, which connects to Union Station. To create a vibrant and unique atmosphere, the developers are partnering with the Street Art Toronto program to include a lively, public art aspect, likely to increase value for the entire surrounding area.

The 3 residential towers will be able to enjoy a total of 80,000 sq.ft of indoor and outdoor residential amenity, 50,000 sq.ft of community centre with 6 lane swimming pool and gymnasium.

These 3 towers are also adjacent to a 250 room hotel with meeting space and ballroom, 1.5 million sq.ft of office space, 160,000 sq.ft of retail space and it will be next to a magnificent 2.5 acres lower Yonge Precinct Park.

1 Yonge Street is on Toronto’s waterfront community, which is a highly-desirable location to work, live and explore. Close to Union Station, Lakeshore Boulevard and the Gardiner Expressway, it provides excellent commuting options. You can also bike, walk or boat your way around almost the entire harbourfront.

At Pinnacle One Yonge, you’re also steps from the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal, which provides ferry service to Toronto Island, a great day trip for cycling, swimming, or strolling amongst the quaint island cottages.

Historic neighbourhoods such as the St. Lawrence Market and Distillery District are a short walk and vibrant cultural institutions like the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery and the Harbourfront Centre are steps away.
