Pinnacle One Yonge Master-Planned Community
All The Perks Of Modern Living At 1 Yonge
When you invest in a condominium at the Pinnacle One Yonge master-planned community, you’re not just investing in a residence, but in a vibrant, self-sufficient pocket that brings together all the perks of modern living on Toronto’s waterfront. This ambitious master-planned community will include 3 residential towers 65, 80 and 95 storeys tall and 2 office towers rising at 35 storeys and 22 storeys. Once completed this amazing project will have a total of 2500 residential units.
Located at 1 Yonge Street, this ambitious community is in the pre-construction phase and will eventually include five new towers as well as a community centre, restaurants, retail, a public square and a 17-metre pedestrian promenade.
The community, which will begin occupancy of its first phase in 2021, is poised to feature Toronto's tallest residential tower, at 95 storeys which will have a completion date of Nov 2024.
The site of 1 Yonge is bordered by Yonge Street to the west, Freeland Street to the east, Queen’s Quay to the south and Lakeshore Boulevard to the north, a prime location that’s within steps of both Lake Ontario and the downtown core.
The south block has long been home to the iconic Toronto Star building, which stands 25 storeys. It's slated to remain, but will be connected to an entirely new 35-storey office building. On the east side of the block a 22-storey commercial building is proposed.
At least three residential towers will be included as well, standing 65, 80 and 95 storeys respectively, situated on the site’s north portion. Designed by the renowned Hariri Pontarini, the towers at 1 Yonge will be sculpted in a way that not only adds dramatically to the skyline with contemporary aesthetics, but reduces wind loads on the buildings and mitigates the effect of shadowing. Pontarini has worked on some of Toronto’s most architecturally intriguing buildings, such as the Royal Ontario Museum and the Art Gallery of Ontario.
All three towers will feature a wide selection of units to choose from, ranging from one to three bedrooms with stunning views of the lake and access to podiums, which will contain restaurant, retail and, in the project’s first phase, a state-of-the-art community centre.
The development at 1 Yonge will eventually include a promenade, public square and direct underground access to the PATH system, which connects to Union Station. To create a vibrant and unique atmosphere, the developers are partnering with the Street Art Toronto program to include a lively, public art aspect, likely to increase value for the entire surrounding area.
The 3 residential towers will be able to enjoy a total of 80,000 sq.ft of indoor and outdoor residential amenity, 50,000 sq.ft of community centre with 6 lane swimming pool and gymnasium.
These 3 towers are also adjacent to a 250 room hotel with meeting space and ballroom, 1.5 million sq.ft of office space, 160,000 sq.ft of retail space and it will be next to a magnificent 2.5 acres lower Yonge Precinct Park.
