As seen by these many examples, downtown Mississauga is a great place where many things are reachable by foot. And yet, for people that need to travel elsewhere in the city, the city centre is also an ideal place for commuters due to its role as the region’s main transportation hub.

Located just ten minutes away from the condo, the City Centre Transit Terminal provides bus service for the Mississauga and Brampton public transportation systems. Among the 20 bus routes that make a stop here is the Mississauga Transitway, a dedicated 18 kilometer-long east-west express bus that serves as the fastest way to get across the city. This great convenience will only increase in the future when the Hurontario LRT will be completed in 2022, offering local residents a quick and easy way to travel up and down this city.

Just north of the station is the Square One Bus Terminal, another bus station offering regional GO bus service. For GO train service, residents have a choice of nearby GO stations: Cooksville to the south (12 minutes by transit), Erindale to the west (15 minutes by transit), and Port Credit GO Station serving the Lakeshore West line (27 minutes by transit).

Meanwhile, motorists have a number of fast roadways to aid them on their commute. Highway 403 is located immediately to the north and is just 4 minutes away by car; reaching Highway 401 takes 6 minutes more while Highway 407 will take a total of 15 minutes. To the south, drivers can reach the Queen Elizabeth Way in just 9 minutes by car.

Downtown Mississauga has always been a great place, but no one wanted to stay there.
