Scarborough Village is an east end quiet, family-oriented neighbourhood and suburb of the district of Scarboroough. Its major junction and midpoint of the community is the intersection of Markham Road and Eglinton Avenue East. The area is surrounded by Lake Ontario and Bellamy Ravine Creek to the south, Bellamy Road to the west, the CNR tracks to the north and Scarborough Golf Club Road and Bethune Boulevard to the east.
It is a diverse neighbourhood known for having many Creole, Hungarian, Bengali, Tamil and Urdu speakers. The area is also known for a significant number of public transit users, growing families, young kids, and high school graduates.
