Yonge & Dundas Condos
The busiest intersection in Toronto, and for good reason. This corner epitomizes the hustle and bustle of downtown, and is home to the famous Yonge-Dundas Square.
Yonge & Dundas Intersection
There’s a strong possibility that Yonge and Dundas isn’t just the busiest intersection in Toronto, but the busiest corner in all of Canada. This is often regarded as the centre of Toronto’s commercial district, and it’s easy to see why. It is intrinsically tied to the Yonge-Dundas Square, which is frequently compared to New York City’s Times Square.
Excellent commercial centres are usually paired with equally great dining choices, and this area certainly exemplifies that. This junction is also close to many other Toronto institutions that make it a great place to live or invest.

Glitz And Glamour
It’s hard to miss Yonge-Dundas Square. It is known for its dazzling billboards that illuminate the vicinity at night. The surroundings bombard the senses with an array of colours, lights, sounds, smells, and the pure commercial urbanity that is overtaking most of Downtown Toronto. The square is encircled by elevated patios so you can sit by and watch the people pass by on this busy corner. It is also outfitted with fountains that act as an art installation. There is a 24-screen movie theater located here too, and it features VIP service for select films.
There’s no shortage of restaurants around this intersection. Reliable chains, quiet cafes, international cuisine, sweet treats, and unique Toronto eateries can all be found here. You could try a new restaurant every week for a year, and still have new options to choose from.
Ryerson University is one of the GTA’s urban centre schools, and its main campus is only a 2 minute walk away.

Surrounded By Everything The City Has To Offer
There are numerous Toronto institutions around this area. Ryerson University is one of the GTA’s urban centre schools, and its main campus is only a 2 minute walk away. The Ted Rogers School of Management is part of Ryerson and is less than a block away. OCAD University is the nation's oldest and best arts and design school, and it is less than a 15 minute walk away. The University of Toronto is further away, but still within walking distance. There’s the concentrated district of healthcare facilities nearby as well. Toronto General Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital, and The Hospital for Sick Children (known locally as Sick Kids) are adjacently located together.
There are cultural institutions here too. Staple performance venues like Massey Hall, Ed Mirvish Theater, and the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre can all be reached by walking south on Yonge. These theaters have a diverse roster of shows ranging from rock and roll concerts to Shakespeare plays. This is where you go for your injection of arts and culture.
There are exciting developments springing up in the region, Panda Condominiums is one such project. These condos offer investors and homebuyers a chance to live in one of the most exciting and prestigious areas in Toronto. This is already one of the most developed neighbourhoods in town, so you shouldn’t pass on the opportunity to invest here, because new condos and apartments are a rarity. With a world class commercial centre, two universities, three hospitals, and numerous cultural centres, this could be the intersection that most exemplifies living in a World City.
