The Places to Grow Act appointed 25 Urban Growth Centres as areas that will become booming with new condominium developments. These areas were chosen as a growth centre because of their fast growing population and their location to transit lines. Each Growth Centre has the capacity to accommodate the forecasted population growth and will start to become thriving, livable and vibrant areas where people can live, work and play.
New Transit Lines
The Regional Transportation Plan was created to address the growing need for public transit across the GTA. By 2041, the region will be booming with transit lines that will be integrated and connected to move more people quicker than ever before.
