Condo Project Summary
Toronto is set to fulfill its rightful position as a world-class city with a new luxury residence whose impressive debut resulted in national headlines.
This new project is a mixed-use retail and condominium tower made by SLATE, currently in pre-construction. This new project is located at 1 Delisle Avenue on the northwest corner of Yonge Street and St. Clair Avenue West in the Toronto neighbourhood of Deer Park, 1 Delisle Avenue Condos has been given a tentative occupancy date of 2023.
Designed by one of the world’s foremost architectural firms, this future condominium has already been called an “architectural icon” by the Globe & Mail. Featuring an innovative exterior that begins with an angular base and becomes rounded as it tapers skyward, this building is pieced together with a recurring hexagonal honeycomb pattern that gently morphs as it spirals upwards, emulating the organic growth pattern of plants.
With its coming landmark status sure to put the intersection of St. Clair and Yonge on the map (if not Toronto itself), this project has been hailed as a "powerful and beautiful addition to the skyline" and a "very striking piece of architecture" by none other than the city’s very own Design Review Panel.
Transfixed by its juxtaposition between forms, passing pedestrians will enjoy an enhanced public realm from the building’s extra-widened sidewalk, thereby making for a more inviting, walkable neighbourhood. And, with a two-storey podium that will retain an existing 1929 art deco facade, this development will help invigorate the neighbourhood with 1,558 square metres of commercial space, likely to be occupied by exciting retail outlets and upmarket eateries.
And yet, for all the hype that has surrounded this project since it debuted in the summer of 2018, we should expect nothing less from the preeminent award-winning architectural firm responsible for this development, Studio Gang.
Led by American architect Jeanne Gang, Studio Gang has become internationally-known for trailblazing design work that reconfigure architecture into a way to connect people socially, experientially, and intellectually. With her firm having won multiple awards for their unprecedented architectural designs, Gang herself has been recognized by Time Magazine as the world’s most influential architect of 2019, the only person in her field to be named to the Time 100 list this year.
As a work of art, this building will unmistakably become an indelible part of the Toronto skyline; as a residence, this condo will undoubtedly become the city’s most coveted address.
Situated close to public transportation and neighbourhood amenities, this transit-oriented luxury residence is set to provide the best in urban contemporary lifestyles, offering no end to practicality and convenience.
As well, this condominium will be built with sustainability in mind; from a tapered top that reduces its shadow impact upon the surrounding vicinity to its enclosed balcony space designed to be used year round, this building’s harmonious design works to help incorporate it into its surrounding environment.
Don’t delay, get in on the ground floor at this future landmark. Make your next home at 1 Delisle Avenue — the address that everyone will know, but only a few will be able to call home.

- 42 one-bedroom units
- 54 one-bedroom + den units
- 141 two-bedroom units

The building will host 1,372 square metres of indoor amenities that will include a pet wash on the ground floor and 532 square metres of outdoor amenities found on the second floor.
