Wallman Architects, the principal firm behind the design of some of Toronto’s most desirable condominiums and hotels has released renderings of 170 Spadina. The façade of the building will showcase contrasting light and dark elements, with panoramic windows.
Interiors are being designed by John Tong of 3rd Uncle Design, who favours minimalist décor and a neutral, nature-inspired palette.
At 170 Spadina almost everything the city has to offer is at your fingertips. From the fresh produce stands and dim sum restaurants of Chinatown to the trendy bars and boutiques of Queen Street West, there’s always something to satiate your appetite or pique your curiosity.
Schools, supermarkets, healthcare facilities and the leafy Alexandra Park are nearby, as well as cultural attractions like the Art Gallery of Ontario.
Location & Neighbourhood
Both the Queen streetcar and Spadina streetcar lines are at your doorstep and run 24-hours, connecting you with the subway and the entire city. Walk to the Bohemian Kensington Market or south to the Entertainment district, where dazzling nightlife and global cuisine will surround you.
Ryerson University, the University of Toronto and the Ontario College of Art and Design are all a short commute by streetcar. The financial district - where it’s estimated 200,000 people work - is a short walk or streetcar ride away, providing a potential executive tenant base.
this building also falls into the Queen Street West Heritage Conservation District, which means the city has long-term plans to maintain the character of many buildings in the area. This means you have all the sleek, metropolitan conveniences downtown has to offer, while maintaining the unique heritage character that has shaped so much of Toronto.
