Condo Project Summary
2440 Yonge Street Condos is the site of a pre-construction condominium building consisting of two towers in Toronto’s Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood. Proposed by Main and Main Developments, 2440 Yonge Street Condos is slated for occupancy in 2022.
The location for this project occupies two acres at the southwestern corner of Yonge Street and Roselawn Avenue, just north of Eglinton. Currently the site of four single-storey commercial buildings and a surface parking lot, the development proposal calls for a completely new development, consisting of a nine-storey podium and two towers, rising 23 and 27 storeys. The project at 2440 Yonge Street will also include six three-storey townhomes, accessible from street level along Roselawn.

In total, the development will feature 637 dwelling units, including the townhomes. With an average size of 622 square-feet, the unit mix is expected to consist of 107 studio layouts, 312 one-bedroom, 139 two-bedroom and 73 three-bedroom layouts. Two levels of underground parking are proposed, which will include 438 spaces, including 295 for residents.
The podium’s third floor will feature an impressive, U-shaped outdoor amenity terrace spanning over 12,000 square-feet. An outdoor pool is proposed for the terrace, with a west-facing view. 14,135 square-feet of indoor amenity space will also be included, spread over the podium’s third, eighth and ninth floors.
A significant amount of public realm improvement is planned for the site at 2440 Yonge Street, including two public courtyards along the site’s western portion, which will include seating area, children’s play equipment, water features and landscaping. The terraced podium and slender towers will feature a mix of materials in their architecture, including stone, precast concrete and glass.
Location & Neighbourhood
