Amenities

Occupying a site on the north side of Richmond, just steps west of Spadina Avenue, this Fashion District condominium is proposed as a 12-storey podium and a seven-storey tower with a series of stepbacks rising above.

A total of 111 residential suites will be included, with a mix comprised of 45 one-bedroom, 45 two-bedroom and 21 three-bedroom layouts. 3,600 square-feet of commercial space is also proposed, to be located at street level.

In a somewhat unique move, the developers are calling for five car-share spaces accessible from the ground level, along with 112 bike spaces. In a neighbourhood that scores a perfect 100 on both its Walk Score and Transit Score, you’re likely to find yourself walking or zipping around on one of the city’s brand-new streetcars anyway.

A full list of indoor amenities has yet to be released, but in total, 2,454 square feet of space will be allocated, primarily below grade and on the third level. Guest suites, a pet spa and a bike wash and maintenance facility are some of the amenities proposed. The condominium will also include 710 square feet of outdoor amenities.

Location & Neighbourhood

Condos in Toronto’s Fashion District are part of a vibrant, urban pocket and fall into what the city calls a “regeneration area.” These areas are places where significant reinvestment and intensification is encouraged, something we’ve definitely seen here lately, especially on this particular stretch.

On a larger scale, The Fashion District fits into one of the province’s Urban Growth Centres, which means it’s expected to house a good chunk of the growing population, as well as add more jobs, infrastructure and community resources. It makes a great place to invest in and an even better place to call home.

Once home to a booming textile industry, the area is still rich with historic factories and warehouses, most of which have been converted into restaurants, offices, galleries or residential lofts. They’re nestled beside modern condominiums and some of the city’s hottest bars and lounges, giving the area a unique, urban appeal. Almost all your day-to-day needs are within walking distance and the area is served by two 24/hour streetcar lines and a network of bus routes, making it easy to get around. It’s a brief commute to the Financial District, where it’s estimated approximately 200,000 people work.
