LIV Communities is a home builder based in Burlington and has a longstanding history. Originating over 40 years ago, this builder started as Landmart Homes. Founded by Mario Roque, this family business has grown tremendously over the years. Landmart Homes started off building custom and semi-custom homes for years and in 2007,
Landmart transitioned from a custom home builder to producing more larger scale developments. This transition came at a time when there was exponential growth in Ancaster and across Southern Ontario and Landmart facilitated the homes to meet the demands of this growth. In 2015, Landmart launched a new division as LIV Communities. This development company was born to continue facilitating growth in the GTA and support the growing housing market.
LIV Communities have three core values: loyalty, integrity and vision. They believe in building high-quality homes while providing exceptional customer service to provide their clients with a seamless experience when it comes to buying and building the home of their dreams. Homebuilding is their passion and they take their craft seriously so building homes in desirable locations while creating dynamic communities is their goal.

The developer is an award-winning company with many accolades behind their belt. They received the 2016 Cross Builder Challenge Best Score Award. This award was presented to the builder with the lowest home energy rating system in North America. This award is determined by the home builder with the lowest score, which means that the developer builds the most energy-efficient homes.
They have also received the 2015 Sales Team of the Year Award from the Hamilton/Halton Home Builders Association. Liv Communities was also recognized by the Ontario Home Builders Association with an award for the Best New Website. The developer works hard to maintain their status as an award-winning home builder and continues to provide energy-efficient, high-quality homes for their customers.
LIV believes in providing exceptional customer service. They have a program called Total LIV Care (TLC) which provides their clients with information, education and care throughout the entire home-building journey. They give their clients the chance to inspect the house as many times as necessary, they provide tours, design advice, multiple meetings with site managers,orientation and more.
They start with pre-construction meetings to allow their clients to review everything and answer any questions before construction starts. They then encourage buyers to walk through the home with the site manager once the framing is complete to see the progress and to allow them to be a part of the entire construction process. Clients are invited to the design studio to meet with a professional interior decorator that will guide them when choosing their features and finishes. Liv proactively sends a quality assurance inspector to oversee the home before clients move in. This is to ensure that the home upholds the highest quality standards. The same inspector will then guide clients through the home before they move in to show them how to use and maintain it.
Once the home-owners are ready to move in, LIV ensures that the home is spotless and that the paperwork is complete. This process gives their clients peace of mind and allows Liv to create homes that meet their own high standards. These extra steps are what sets them apart from everyone else. Representatives will be there to assist their clients every step of the way.
